World News: Iceland’s Most Active Volcano Has Started Erupting, Spurs 50 quakes

I wouldn’t go as far to say that it’s the end of the world… but it’s quite a coincidence that this is happening! Scientists say Iceland’s most active volcano, Grimsvotn, has started erupting. A P reports that Iceland’s Meteorological Office confirmed Saturday that an eruption had begun, and local media said smoke could be seen coming from the volcano. More after the jump!
