Jay-Z is in the middle of another lawsuit. A lawsuit has been filed against Roc Nation for trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit is over the diamond shaped logo the brand uses. A clothing brand, Volcom, claim to own the rights for the logo and filed suit against Roc Nation in the Central District of California. Source
"While Roc Nation appears to have initially used the diamond only in combination with the words 'Roc Nation' it is now using the diamond log on its own, causing a likelihood of confusion among consumers," Volcom's says the complaint.
According to AllHipHop, Volcom says that Roc Nation was notified that the logo infringed on their trademark rights, but they ignored all requests to cease using it. The lawsuit claims Volcom has invested over $100,000,000 in marketing their logo.
