News: Former High School Coach, Admits To Secretly Videotaping Girl’s Softball Team

Michael Gene Hestand, a former high school girl’s softball coach in Oklahoma City, Okla., reportedly admitted to police that he secretly videotaped his team while they changed clothes in the locker room.

According to the report, the 45-year-old also told police that he has child pornography on his home computer.
Hestand was a teacher and coach at Western Heights High School. Police said he was fired in December of 2009 after adult male pornography was found on his school computer.
Police have been investigating Hestand since the new softball coach allegedly found his video camera and tapes in the softball equipment room.
“After the softball players leave the room … a male voice asks, ‘Is everyone out?’ After receiving no answer, a hand is shown and the video ends,” sex-crimes detective Douglas Hurst reportedly wrote in an affidavit for his arrest.
Hestand was said to have been arrested and released after posting $40,000 bond.
